Before being named as COO in 2005, Patrick held several senior executive positions with Circuit City Stores—the nation’s 2nd largest electronics retailer—most recently as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Patrick led a team of Black Belts who reduced Circuit City’s annual expenses by $250 million.
Patrick earned degrees from Robert Morris University in Business Administration and Finance.

Jim’s 40-year career in healthcare began with Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, as Director of Support Services. Prior to founding Grant, Jim held several top management positions, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer of a Health System in Philadelphia.
Jim earned his degree in Business from Robert Morris University and anM.B.A. from St. Joseph’s University.
John M. Pyne, P.E. I Principal
John serves as Executive Vice President, and is responsible for marketing, business development, and the strategic growth of the firm. John also focuses on client management, project management, and construction management, drawing on his comprehensive knowledge and technical experience in the engineering and construction related industries. Over his 20-year career, John has successfully executed projects of varying degrees of magnitude and complexity for over one hundred governmental, agency, non-profit, institutional, and private sector clients.
John earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Drexel University, and is a licensed professional engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia.
